I would ask how Earth anyone expected us to be 10-1 right now without a lot of smoke a mirrors? The problems that were noted before the season didn't just disappear; the OL issues have really reared their ugly head the last few weeks. Treon has regressed with the line, a line which is young and pretty dinged up now.

This team was picked to have a 7-5 or worse season by many. They have way over achieved thanks to a stellar defense and an offense that finishes games, no matter how ugly they have to do it, a mindset that was sorely lacking until Mac showed up.

Mac's only problem is that he unfortunately gave a lot of fans the idea that this was possibly national championship team by the time we went to Baton Rouge. Now, as many Gator fans do, they are judging the team against some unrealistic expectation rather than trying to remember where we started this year. If we finish 10-1 or 10-2, this year was a complete and total success as we are way ahead of schedule.

I also don't believe a helluvalot in luck. Well coached teams look lucky sometimes because they are able to take advantage of opportunities that fall in their laps. We've done that enough to win this year.

We're an experienced OL and solid quarterback (I guess on and off the field in our case) away from a truly special season, and I think we're only a year or two away at this point. I'm excited by that, personally.

I think most of us knew when this season started we would a few ugly games, we just happened to be able to pull out a win. Coaching and leadership has made this team overachieve and now when the issues catch up to us, it looks even worse.
