Dont jump on me, i have been as positive as any Gator fan on this board, even predicting 10 wins if all worked out but the truth of the matter is we have done this with smoke and mirrors and a lot of luck. While we can rejoice at the 10 wins this year and the great job the coaches did, none of us should be satisfied with the product we are putting on the field at QB, O-line and place kicker. If we don't get it fixed, we could very easily slip back to 6-6 or worse next year. I have faith that Mac will get this done. Go Gators, beat Fsucks.

I would ask how Earth anyone expected us to be 10-1 right now without a lot of smoke a mirrors? The problems that were noted before the season didn't just disappear; the OL issues have really reared their ugly head the last few weeks. Treon has regressed with the line, a line which is young and pretty dinged up now.

This team was picked to have a 7-5 or worse season by many. They have way over achieved thanks to a stellar defense and an offense that finishes games, no matter how ugly they have to do it, a mindset that was sorely lacking until Mac showed up.

Mac's only problem is that he unfortunately gave a lot of fans the idea that this was possibly national championship team by the time we went to Baton Rouge. Now, as many Gator fans do, they are judging the team against some unrealistic expectation rather than trying to remember where we started this year. If we finish 10-1 or 10-2, this year was a complete and total success as we are way ahead of schedule.

I also don't believe a helluvalot in luck. Well coached teams look lucky sometimes because they are able to take advantage of opportunities that fall in their laps. We've done that enough to win this year.

We're an experienced OL and solid quarterback (I guess on and off the field in our case) away from a truly special season, and I think we're only a year or two away at this point. I'm excited by that, personally.

We are not gonna go 6-6 next year.

The OL will be one of the strengths of the team next year, with all the freshman improving and bulking up in the offseason.

I also am very confident McElwain will not start Treon next year.

He will not put up another half season of this QB play.

Del Rio, Franks, or Trask will start.

The defense contrary to popular belief will not drop off that much.

The DL and secondary will still be very nasty. LB is the worry if Davis leaves with Morrison.

The offense will have A LOT of playmakers next year and the schedule gets easier.

At WORST we are a 9 win team next year.
