Humiliating Win

I've been a Florida alum for almost 30 years. I can't recall a win that left me so embarrassed and frustrated, even under Moosedump
This season is starting to remind me of the 2012 one where we thought Moosedump was our coach of the future. I feel like Mac is much better, but I'm concerned about this teams habit of playing down to the level of their opponents. The coaching staff has to play a part in that. The Gators are 10-1 yet I feel cheated out of the excitement as if we didn't earn it.
Obviously, the wild card in this thing is the suspension of Greir. It's frustrating to think how the struggling in these games probably never happens with him. Losing the appeal, it scares me to think we must rely on Harris for the first half of next season. He clearly isn't progressing with experience. Hopefully the Del Rio kid will get a chance to beat him out in the spring.
Although my great optimism about the FSU game is dropping, I believe the players will be so angry at the talking heads and coaches this week that we have a chance.
As for Alabama, there's nothing to discuss
Sorry about the whining, just needed to vent!
I'm sure you feel the same way!

If Franks flips, either him or Del Rio will start next year.
I can't see McElwain tolerating Treon playing like this for another season.

It will be a small miricle if we can pull off a win next week. It's going to b embarisng in the swamp to let FSUcks win it.

Fortunately, they also play up to the level of better teams. This near disater may be the kick in the arse they need to handle FSU

There are great differences between Muschamp and Mac this year.
First and foremost, I've seen creativity.
Second: Muschamp had way more talent in all the different positions.
He left the cupboard on Offense completely barren.
Not enough quarterbacks, not enough offensive linemen and even running backs, he seemed to have no plan going forward.
Third: He's already done what Muschamp never could, win the East.

Let me start by saying I agree that it was a humiliating win.
Saying you can't remember a worse time, I ask you, how did you feel after Georgia Southern? Seriously it was worse with Muschamp.
With all that said, how many injuries were we dealing with today? I feel like generally speaking we have been lucky as hell this year with injuries and as a result we have looked better than we are.
What I mean is that we aren't a deep team. Our starters can play with anyone, our second string can play with most, but our third string guys should be on the scout team. Maybe that isn't true in a couple positions, but generally speaking we have been winning with smoke and mirrors, which I think is a testament to the coaching staff.
Bottom line though - a win is a win. As far as how I saw this season going we are already playing on house money, even though I would really really like to win next week.
It is really frustrating that we have regressed so much every week since Ole Miss.

Seriously, we're 10 - 1 and we were expected to finish 5th in our division. Winning is winning, and in reality if Muschamp was in charge of this team we may not be bowling.
Mac has done what he could with our offense, but the dude has had nothing to work with. Harris is bad. He's not a quarterback, and he wouldn't start anywhere in the SEC if not for some luck.
The offensive line is the youngest it's been for a while.

UF will beat FSU.

I totally disagree. I believe this win was worse than GS and was 1st and goal at the 9 in OT away from making the GS loss pale in comparison.
The GS loss was to a horrible Gator team with a losing culture and coach. This team is the SEC east champion, 9-1, #8 in playoff poll, with the presumed coach of the year! Georgia Southern would steamroll FAU.
No.....this was worse!!

You are correct. We've been lucky enough to be drinking the "House Money" cool aid all season which has actually spoiled us. This game puts that into perspective. This coach WILL keep us at the top ten level for many years to come while he stockpiles the recruits.
I just wish Greir had won the appeal

I know its bad, but the team rose up when it mattered. We all know Treon is not the answer, no field vision and his accuracy is horrid as is his decision making. I gotta believe that he cant be the best option available.
That said we fielded a mash unit today and it showed. Treon basically handed them a td and missed a few for us. At this point im hoping on everything that we can flip Franks.

GS was FCS. FAU is an FBS team. A win is ALWAYS preferable to a loss. Are you drunk?

You obviously missed my point. Go back and read it a few more time after you sober up, maybe you'll get it.
I don't care where they classify FAU. I live 10 miles from their campus. They've only had a football team since 2001. They recruit UF, FSU, UM rejects. Florida can't be in the top 10 and let that team be 1st and goal at the 9 yard line with 4 trys to win the game!

Yall are a bunch of pansies.
Sure we looked like shite, but we won damnit.
Its no good complaining about Treon. If we had better, McElwain would start them.

I was wondering about Jacob Guy, he must really be awful in practice if he can't beat out Treon.

Franks will not play next year. He's very raw as a passer at least from his "highlights"

First...lets not talk about Ga Southern without mentioning that we were on our THIRD string QB, absolutely NO LB depth and even had to start a walk on LB because of injuries..I will always remember Jarrad Davis played his first snaps other than special teams as a true frosh against GSU. It wasnt coaching...we had no depth with the injuries.
Ok...now that I got that off my chest. McElwain is in honeymoon status right now but playing Treon is going to be like the ex boyfriend showing up at your hotel room with a suitcase. Florida fans arent going to tolerate many Ls before they turn on him. The good news is that in 2016 our schedule is easier...LSU, UK, Mizzou and USC all come to the Swamp...but an early season game at UT will be difficult....a few games later we travel to Arkie.
We can win with Treon and a stout defense in most situations, but in 2016 UF fans are going to expect the SEC east title. McElwain has had lucky breaks this year and his mojo might wear off in 2016? Lets hope Del Rio can answer the bell. Second half of the season with Grier back will help a lot.

That gsu loss was bad. I think a lot of us have WM and whether or not this is all a fluke like 2012. Hopefully Treon can play better the next 3 games. I don't see him returning next year unless he changes position.

Fellas. That was one of the ugliest wins I didn't get to see.
I'm scared shitless what may happen next week much less the Bama game.
Florida needs to get things figured out... Fast!!!
