#7 You aint getting the Texas job if it opens up. They already tried the "Hot Coach" with a winning record from a weak conference. Texas Boosters are going "All In" on Saban, Meyer maybe David Shaw or Willingham or a big name NFL Coach like Kelley. That's what the big money boosters wanted when the AD hired Strong (without their permission.) The AD won't go against those boosters again if Strong is a washout.

surgicalvenom - I think you are correct.
And an additional part of Point #6. Rhoades says, "do you realize that this program was one half away from playing the Natty in 2013? They finished 5th that year and won the Cotton Bowl. And finished 4th in 2007 and won the Cotton Bowl again."
(Just thinking to myself here...Will I ever forgive Stec for his SECCG game plan???)
