No its a Miles players problem not an area problem. Miles is a lazy hardheaded shite. He lets the players get soft. Texas has that issue right now with their team and it all started with Mack being allowed to stay around too long. IMO the threat of keeping someone around too long is about the same as hiring a flop. Sometimes the attitude makes the rebuild harder

Is that really a thing though?
I mean, FSU bounced back pretty quickly after Jimbo took over. Bill O'Brien did pretty well after Joe Pa left. Do we really have an example of a program "keeping" a coach too long and paying the price for it?
I mean other than Texas obviously. To me the "Mack Brown stayed too long" narrative is just an excuse to cover for the fact they made the wrong hire with Charlie. If they would have hired Saban we wouldn't hear a thing about Mack staying too long today.
