Bruce made a mistake going back to this helter skelter style. You need superior shooters for this to work and even then you can lose to anybody if your shots aren't falling. Plus I don't see anyway to put together 6 straight wins in March doing this.

Those last 3 Tennessee teams were much better in the postseason and much more efficient defensively despite being "less fun" to watch and some growing pains in the half court throughout the season.

Not sure why he's gone back to this pressing. His recruiting is reminding me of what he did early at Tennessee. If he wants to compete with UK, UNC, etc. on the trail (like for a Tobias Harris type kid) I don't think this is the way to go at all.

This is the 2nd game of the season with about 8 newcomers. He has to find out what they can and cannot do.

I think he's playing the more 'fun' style to help attract players... and it seems to be working.

Once we get more established, we might see a shift back to more defensive style.
