Top SEC Rushing Defense for 2015
Below are the top SEC teams based on rushing defense for the 2015 season.
TEAM
1.) Alabama
2,) Florida
So LSU ran all over the 2nd best rush defense in the conference. Interesting. I think it has more to do they actually showed up for Florida, not Arkansas. Ole Miss' rush D is ranked 6th in the SEC, LSU is 7th.
And our rushing O is still #1 in the conference. Stats mean nothing for this game though.

They didn't mean anything for the Alabama or Arkansas games either. L5U got crushed.

2.)Florida
3.)OM
4.)Arkansas

Top SEC Rushing Defenses based on avg. per rush in SEC games for 2015:
1.) Alabama - 2.80
2.) Missouri - 3.15
3.) OM - 3.44
4.) Florida - 3.51
5.) Arkansas - 3.64
6.) Georgia - 4.10
7.) LSU - 4.22

I feel like looking at total yards allowed for the season doesn't really tell you much. Average per rush is a better number to show how the defense does against the run and conference games only does a better job of comparing apples to apples.
