DBU: Florida or LSU?

I think fans of either school are honest enough to admit that outright ownership of the title depends upon the year. The fact that the debate overwhelmingly revolves around LSU and UF is pretty telling.
LSU will always be DBUw, and Florida will always be DBUe. The better team in a given year wins the DB National Title, and gets to claim DBU for that year.
Either school also has the right to nominate another school for temporary, honorary DBU status, but both schools must approve the nominee, and the status is automatically revoked at the end of the season in which it has been granted.
Right now, Florida gets my nod for the outright title, but our DBs haven't really played up to their potential this year. LSU seems to be in a similar boat.
