Armond and Braxton

Don't know much about those guys except that they are pretty highly rated.

What's their play style? Who would you compare their game to?

Got a hunch that Clemson is going to beat Virginia tonight.

Braxton is more of a mid-range shooter. Really good with ball(passing, driving in traffic, etc..), great on the boards, but not very good behind the arc.

I don't really know much about Armond, but his highlights are really promising.

He shoots a ton of 3s at a pretty decent percentage. He can drive to the rim and he's athletic, but I see him being like Edwards and basically being a 3 point shooter here.

I really hope Armond has some ball skills, Edwards can shoot, but that's about it on offense.

He seems to be a much better slasher and driver than Edwards. I hope to God you're not right though, because we might not be that much better otherwise. We'd basically be replacing Edwards, hoping King is as good as promised and can replace Retin's scoring production (I view this as very unlikely) and adding Key and Ingram into the mix. How fricking depressing this is right now....

I'm not saying I don't see him being able to drive some, but I see most of his shots being from 3.

Ferguson flaking out does put a damper on the final four run for next year though. Hopefully we can find a good grad transfer or two to bring in.

Exactly why I don't watch him. The Bama football callers are happy and quiet after we won the championship so he has to get us stirred somehow.

Most reports are saying that Ferguson still has us very much in the running...but never a good sign when someone decommits.

This season has been so weird for me...I went from not worrying about how we do, to getting really excited that we might make the tournament, to getting really disappointed when it looks like we won't. I have to keep reminding myself that even Avery himself tried to lower expectations going into this season and remember that even a one and done in the tournament would be a vast overachievement.

Unless they decommit and then commit to another school immediately, they'll say that about the school they decommitted from. Unless there was a change in coaching personnel, those kids pretty much never recommit back to that school.

I'd give us, at most, a 10% shot for Ferguson. And in that scenario, that's assuming Ferguson is still sold on us and mama is just trying everything to convince him otherwise, but will ultimately allow him to make the choice.

Hope we play well. Game will be a grind. Hopefully Arkansas doesn't show up.

Well, Anderson's M.O is that he can't win on the road, but his team is very capable of putting up big numbers. Bama is going to have tocause havoc and create turnovers and force them to take bad shots from beyond the arc.

Believe they're averaging close to 80 PPG.

I think we show out on Senior night and Retin has a great game along with plenty of help. We win by 10.

If we win tonight, I can't imagine how stressed I'll be Saturday knowing our chance of getting to the tourney is so close.

That's a big if for tonight though.

I'm very much on the fence about driving up there Saturday. I really don't have time, my wife will probably not be excited about it, but I feel like it is my duty.
