Football. And specifically the players run the schools now. That was the most important thing that happened in all of this

Schools aren't going to be able to hide behind scholarships much longer when the free labor gravy train finds their voice.

Ain't no fun when the rabbit has the gun.

This is what happens when most of your professors are marxist fools it was just a matter of time before the ignorant students started eating their own with their stupid PC crap.

Missouri just doesn't fit in the SEC.

It would be better for them and for the SEC if they went back to the Big 12 or joined the Big 10.

Scrooster, It must be tough to know that such a shitty program such as MU still manages to beat your team, like a drum. Yep, shitty.

If I lived vicariously through a bunch of hormonal 18-22 year old kids who dictated to my alma mater how to do business .... then yea, you might have a point.

In reality, Mizzou has never beaten SCAR like a drum so that's more hyperbolic bullshite from #Mizzou which has come to be the norm, nor do I dickride fricktards in the face of such universally accepted bullshite as what Mizzou has perpetrated on the world of college football.

As I illustrated, your place in the SEC is right there ... in Bungholeville.

I hate the Vols, with a passion. That Bama fan was right, it's like a garbage truck convention around there. Fat Phil was always so desperate against Spurrier. Bring the team down to Florida early, bring the team late. He was Spurrier's rag doll.

And seeing Dawg coaches slump to the microphone after they lose to UF is awesome. It never gets old.

But the USJW. Special place now. At the bottom. Forever. I still have respect for the Vols and the Dawgs. None for USJW.

mizzourites will never understand the truth, the deep felt disgust at what has come from their pathetic university's behavior ... but, well, I feel ya.

Mizzou is pathetic.

I think they bounce back next year and do well I'm happy they are in SeC.

a. you are wrong. USJW is going to struggle for the rest of time and should be expelled from the SEC. they had a tough time fitting in, and it's even worse now.

b. there are many strong rivalries in this conference but there isn't one team in the SEC I fail to respect, until now. There is nothing to respect at USJW. Everything there is a pile of garbage, including their offense and their head coward, err I mean coach.

c. like it or not, Bama is expected to be one of the standard bearers in this conference. It's not acceptable that you are happy with USJW being in the SEC. People take pride in this conference, and that includes those times when Bama goes to the title game and non-Bama fans chant SEC and pull for Bama. Take some pride in the conference and show USJW what it deserves: disdain.

You just gave me a new sig quote....That's why I laugh when people say pull scholarships. Those brothas will just transfer to other schools...NCAA will let them...they are worth too much $$$$$ to kick out the NCAA. There's a reason why college football is big business, on every major network, good ratings, etc....those 4-5* rabbits bring in that $$$$$$$.

Now the rabbit is starting to think about social issues just like the pro athletes are. Remember L.A. Clippers situation(threatening not to play)...you might get more of that in college...Mizzou was the first school it hit..

All it will take is one coach with a nutsack who kicks every motherfricker racist athlete off the team for threatening to boycott games and this shite will be over in a heartbeat.

Uh yeah and then we expelled the students (Georgia natives), kicked their shithole fraternity off campus, and the guys got jail time.

Handled it #likeaboss.

Um Mizzou is getting mad respect from those young bucks and bulls that you love to recruit. Pro athletes even respect what they did. Former SEC players showing them love. Parents of young bucks and bulls that are being recruited love how Mizzou players stood up. Only people pissed are the racists. Wonder why. But before you talk about embarrassing you might want to see what your future and current players families are saying. And this coming from a person who have a family member being recruited, family member played at LSU, family member played in the pros.

Yeah, laugh while you can for the next few hours before the lie becomes so big that even the media will have to admit all of this is bullshite. Your team and school are going to/already look like buffoons for succumbing to a fake hunger strike with nothing but liars on all sides of it. None of this story adds up, and I'm going to laugh my arse off when sports writers, comedians, and the media at large figure out that this is all bullshite, and your school will be the laughing stock of the nation.

No but people are talking about how other athletes at other schools need to step up.

No, your loser athletes blackmailed the program just because of one entitled dickhead said he'd starve to death. Why is it the teams responsibility to save some self righteous dickhead from his own stupidity?

And they blackmailed them when they're the single worst team in the conference. Great message this sends to other sports teams. What if the Yankees don't like New York's elected mayor? Do they just not play to get him to step down? What if Alabama football players refuse to play unless they're given 5 star accommodations when they travel? There isn't anything admirable about this from any side of the debate. It's just sad and pathetic.

I assume the Ole Miss post above is sarcasm because, surely, an Ole Miss fan wouldn’t lecture someone else about race relations.

If you're referring to the Meredith incident, then it was a great step in progress for civil rights. Yes, it's a shame some people had to die, but it was for a good purpose that benefited the nation as a whole. We are not proud of what happened, but some good came out of it. It was one of the defining acts of courage of the last century.

What's going to come out of this? The only people involved in this are liars, pussies, and gullible people. Take it from Ole Miss fans that having something this definitive will make it to where you'll have to defend yourselves for the rest of your school's existence. But our school changed for the better when that happened; your's will be for the worse and nothing good can come out of this. Any person who is proud of what is going on in Mizzou now is a pussy, a liar, or gullible. None of this adds up, and it will be revealed to the public at large within the week. You will never be able to live this one down as a university for being a bunch of cowards to a basic non-existent issue.
