All the naysayers can downvote, but this is reality. There is just no way we have two 5 star QBs and three 5 star WR and our offense still struggles. Yeah, some can say we don't have the personnel, but that still falls on Sumlin. How he allowed our Offensive line to deteriorate so fast is beyond me. I appreciate the uniform changes and highly touted recruits, but none of that means shite if you can't develop players and win.

I am not there yet. The Chavis hire looks good, as long as the offensive staff gets shaken up this offseason I still have hope. Sumlin's problem is that he is too loyal, not that he is an idiot. We could get a rock star OC if we wanted.

And honestly even if right now I knew he would never win a title I wouldn't want to fire him after this season. He is doing a wonderful job sponging up some of the talent Texas normally gets during the Charlie era. If we can be stable through the end of Charlie and maximize Texas's down period then maybe the guy post Sumlin will have a full cupboard that he can win with.
