sounds like good reasons to me.
Clemson is a nationally known university. lol anybody who pays attention to sports knows about Clemson, and wake Forest and most other major public and private schools.
I see it as a lateral move. One man's opinion.

By your own admission, you see Clemson as a Wake Forest-tier job, which I'm pretty sure everyone here will agree with.
