This will be year five for Mike.
In year five, Nolan took us to the Final Four.
Based on the OP's point, Mike is just as good a coach as Nolan and is on the same win trajectory, actually slightly better.
And since we're a bunch of Arkansas dumb asses that are only capable of looking at historical win/loss records in order to project how we think our team will fare this year, I got on the phone and got my final four tickets ordered today.
What is so awesome about it, based on Mike's slightly better win/loss record to Nolan's first four years, we should advance even further in the tournament that Nolan did in year five.
WE MAKE THE FINALS!!!!!!!!!! WOW

The only elite Arkansas coaches in modern history are Nolan and Eddie. The rest are second tier including Mike at this point.

The other thing that gets lost in the comparison between the Mike and Nolan comparison, is the fact that in Nolan's era, coaches had to build a program that could win against other programs that had 4 year players. That alone debunks this comparison.
The elite basketball programs lose their top players after one year and have to reload each year, Mike has a far better chance at winning early than Nolan did.
Nolan went up against teams like UNLV, Duke, Arizona, UCLA, NC, and other teams that may have 5 NBA players on it. Mike's team may only face one of those teams each year (Kentucky).
No offense to OP and I appreciate the discussion, but the comparison is trash.
