Now in terms of run stopping LSU is way better. Lead the SEC in run D at 83 yards/conference game, 3 total TD's.

I think the key thing about A&M's DL is that their eilte pass rushers that are mediocre to bad against the run. Garrett is a great talent, but his run defense is putrid and has been since he got to A&M. Their DT's are talented, but not better than LSU's.

I think the starting LBers for LSU may be the best Bama will have faced all year as well which will be a huge difference. The impressive thing for run defense with LSU is they mostly play in nickel with a 4 DL and LBers and yet are pretty stout against the run and still get significant pressure on the QB in the passing game.

All that said, Bama's OL is very talented, but has numerous mental breakdowns every game. LSU has to capitalize on those or it will be a long night for them.
