Hard to look at that second picture and know that the life there is nearing an end, and he knows it. Have to love him and that spirit, and all of those like him.

Its hard to see God's purpose sometimes. Maybe he gets to come back and have another one. I dunno but this sucks. That is a brave kid and I appreciate Les taking time out to pray for a Bama kid.

Exactly. I don't know a whole lot about bone cancer but I imagine this kid is in a great deal of physical pain. But even worse than that, this kid who should be thinking about things like what sort of car he wants or that cute girl who lives up the street, is having to face his own mortality knowing he probably won't live much more than a few days or weeks. I'm a 45 year old grown man and I'd probably be huddled in a corner somewhere crying like a baby if i were facing what he was facing.

The biggest thing that Les Miles gives this kid is a chance to not have to think about that though. He's giving him a chance to put all that aside and be a kid getting to be around his favorite team and just be a LSU fan for a little while. And on top of this escape, Les is also giving him a sense that his favorite team is behind him, praying for him and encouraging him the best they can. He should be commended for what he's doing.

awesome dude

Sid is allowed into the Les family - he has Les cell and can call anytime - he is in fan escape 101
and blessings to Les to allow Sid this great joy right now - this is a right now joy Sid gets to have !!!!
