Alabama fans: Bama losing to Ohio State singlehandedly caused chaos

Bama's embarrassing loss to Ohio State in last year's playoff sent shockwaves thru the college football landscape that culminated in a disastrous confrontation in Nashville, TN this past weekend.
I was in Nashville with my wife and family to watch Mizzou lose to Vanderbilt. After the game we went downtown to salvage the evening with dinner and some excitement at bars. We went to Bailey's Sports Bar (a couple bars down from Tootsies) to eat dinner. The only available seating was on the 2nd floor in the designated smoking area which happened to be alright because it's a balcony that overlooks Broadway. Plenty of flat screen TVs that were playing different college football games. Plus, hardly anyone was actually smoking which was nice.
However, the moment we walked into this large room we were greeted by a table of the rudest most obnoxious Ohio State fans you can imagine. As our waitress led us to our table, the entire Ohio State table of six started screaming, "OH...IO! OH...IO! OH...IO," and then one of the dudes looked straight at me and said, "Hey, bro...look at my shirt. You see what it says? It says Ohio State is the indisputable national champions. You see that?"
I said, "Good for you, bud! I'm sure your contribution to the national championship was invaluable." I smiled and he looked perplexed like, "What the frick?"
Then when we sat down, he turned around and said something like, "What team do y'all root for?" It was obvious we were Mizzou fans since our entire table was wearing Mizzou shirts.
I said, "It's pretty clear who we root for," and I laughed and looked at my table like, "Who the frick does this dude think he is?"
He drunkenly said, "Did your team perform well today," and then he winked at one of the other guys at his table.
I replied, "Not really."
This dude then says, "You see my shirt? Can you read what that says? You can read, right?"
I look at a couple of the guys at my table and just laughed. I didn't reply.
Then the dude stands up and looks at other Mizzou, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech tables all around us and loudly proclaims, "Ohio State is the indisputable college football national champions! OH..."
The rest of his table yelled, "IO!!!" This went on and on and on.
Then he sits down and taps me on the shoulder and says, "I wish some Alabama fans were here, know what I mean?"
I said, "I don't."
He said, "Well, you all think you're better than Ohio State and the Big 10, but the SEC is pretty much an overrated shite show...wouldn't you agree?"
I said, "Nope," as I tried to bring down my rising temperature. At this point I was trying my best to ignore this guy. Another table complained to the waitress and she politely asked this table to be respectful to other people in the room. They quieted down for a moment, waited for her to leave, and then they did the loudest OH...IO chant you can imagine six people doing.
Then, a super drunk but fairly attractive woman at that table stands up and approaches every table in the room. She says, "At halftime, I want your table to yell H. If you do this I'll buy everyone who participates a lemon drop shot." Then she'd go to anther table and say the same thing except that table would be another letter like I or O. Unfortunately, a few tables of Mizzou, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech fans played along. The only table that didn't was a table of Jersey people who walked in at about this time, sat down in the back corner, and immediately realized that they - Rutgers fans- were in the same room as belligerent Ohio State fans.
The drunk Ohio State girl made her way to their table and attempted to pull the same shite, but one of the Jersey dudes flat out stopped her and said, "Sit the frick down." The Ohio State girl acted surprised and said something like, "That wasn't nice. You won't get shots."
The Rutgers dude said something like, "I don't give a shite."
Flash forward to halftime of the Ohio State/Rutgers game. Ohio State was destroying Rutgers. The Ohio State girl asked all participants to stand up, one of the Ohio State dudes pulled out his phone to film the chant, and then the entire room (shamefully) did the Ohio State chant...except me, a few at our table, and the Rutgers fans.
Not long after the chant the Ohio State girl actually followed thru with her promise and purchased all participants lemon drop shots. As she was dispersing the shots, she walked over to the Rutgers table and said in a very bitchy but passive aggressive way, "You all would have shots right now if you had simply done the chant."
One of the Jersey women stood up (she was a fine super attractive blonde in her late 40s) and replied in a strong Jersey accent, "We don't want your fricking shots, bitch! Sit your arse down!"
I was like, "Oh shite! Here we go!"
But surprisingly nothing progressed between the Ohio State and Rutgers table.
The Ohio State fans kept being obnoxious. About two thirds of the room sold out their favorite college football team to be Ohio State fans for free shots while the Ohio State fans laughed and filmed those people chanting for the evil empire.
And the entire time the Ohio State fans kept making underhanded comments about how Meyer owns Saban, how the SEC and Alabama is overrated, and about how great it is to be an Ohio State fan...the undisputed college football national champions.
God...I fricking HATE Ohio State fans.

Dude...you need a hobby...or a job.

I read all of it and it was a good read.

I knew I should have broken that post route off.

I read all of it but I doubt you were as confrontational as you described yourself. Still a good read

How many threads are you going to start today?

Stopped reading when you said "Bailey's." That is on you for choosing to go to lower Broad on a Saturday night. You deserve everything that happened and more.

I can't believe I read the whole thing.

I think it is funny that the loss to Ohio State is supposed embarrassing to us. The only embarrassing part is that we didn't hold the big lead we built. Sure we wanted to win four national championships in five years, but Oregon's loss to them was much worse.

I probably laughed more than I should at this.

Look...I wanted to go to Mid Town but a few people in my group hadn't been to Nashville before so they wanted to do the touristy thing, and I get that.

Something Similar happened to me with an LSU group. Kept screaming tiger bait in an 8 year olds face. Hit him in his loud mouth on the 3rd strike. Rest of the LSU fans did nothing.
