It's not as cold here as I thought. Or am I just a tad early for the winter weather?

You're a little early, but Salt Lake is fairly mild in a relative comparison to most areas up that, or so I've been told by the three Mormons I know

Is Salt Lake and Provo nice places to live or do all of the mormons make it insufferable. It sure does look pretty in the pictures.

Never lived there, have spent a little time up there working and it seemed like a nice place. Salt Lake is a bit more modern than some of the smaller places there, I would live there if the money was right and I could work elsewhere when it gets cold, because I hate the cold. It's definitely beautiful up there.

you are a bit early, and a bit low.

wait a month and go in any direction to see hard core winter. Go from there towards Idaho, the scenery is stunning, you will want to stop every mile and take a photo, same if you go south towards 4 Corners(take the canyon route),or drive east to Denver. west goes to California..

Yeah I've been to four corners on the way to Phoenix from Colorado. I'm going through Idaho on the way to Seattle. I'll probably head down to Cali from there

You are about to see that stunning shite then. gonna wish you are in a car so you can just drive and look at everything you see, that is just a few miles away. You will be looking at the Tetons from the west side. The view is incredible. Be careful on Cabbage ridge, actually hit an elk there once.

Remember the safety stuff you were taught, and you will love going there.

Hell no, they'd lose to much money because you can't accidentally draw a line in the wrong place.

I have Texas tags on a low, loud outlaw looking truck, Cali hates me. Colorado isn't fond of it either. If I ever have to go back to driving full time again, I'm never leaving the Tx,LA,AR,OK,NM area and I'd prefer to just stay in TX.

I have my trucks set up for electronic logs now, supposed to happen next year, but I have my doubts how it will work out. I think it will cost the consumer a shitload of money. Also you will be waiting at the stores for certain things that you want, because we won't be able to just get it there.
