Well then, perhaps this is a generational thing. I'm not sure how one could definitively describe class, but I certainly know/have known very affluent people who say frick like it's their job. They are not trashy people.

Perhaps you can tell me what is classy and what isn't so we can solve this issue.

It's just a matter of timing. We all use the word, timing is everything. My wife's son (another marriage) uses it several hundred times a day, and it's never effective.
