What does that have to do with Mizzou athletics?

We'll see what you think if a Chancellor is named who starts thinking that the AD doesn't deserve the Universities support. Personally, I don't ever want to go back to the days of Babs.

Couldn't be more wrong.

Interesting. Because I literally have not talked to one person who has said anything other than how much they loved him and how lucky we were to have him and how he'll be great for the AD because he fully supports the athletics. Literally, never had one single A&M fan say otherwise. Not saying they don't exist but I find this statement hard to believe.

Maybe you're talking about people in the academia world. Dunno.

Yes. Chancellors can be supportive of athletics, but generally (besides hires), they aren't too involved. Appearances sure, but not many of the day-to-day operations. I think alot of people are scared of another Babs...but I'm pretty sure that was a major exception.

Public appearances are one thing, but I wouldn't call that a "major blow" to Mizzou athletics if he were to get the axe.

As a Greek Alumni, this student (assuming) is correct from what I have heard. Single handily dismantling Senior Sendoff is a tragedy. That tradition has been there for years. Getting a beer as you leave back through the Columns on your way to real life.

Some of the other things aren't exactly clear, but what is clear, is that he is no fan of Greek Life. Like it or not, Greek Life is a huge part of of Mizzou Tradition. Heck, they practically make Homecoming on their own. House Decorations, the Parade floats, blood drive...almost all completely Greek.

So on the academic side, he obviously ruffles feathers. On the traditions side, he is no fan of standing traditions.

Lets keep the political stuff to the poli-board....unless it is obviously tied.
