Some conference losses are inherently worse than others.
The expansion in '92 took some of the steam out of the Alabama/Tennessee game. The stakes aren't as high as they used to be as it's easier to overcome a loss in that game than it is to overcome a loss within your division.
Come on Vols, this isn't rocket science - it's just what everyone else is seeing.
