No, it's not. We can't save people from their own bad choices." IF IT SAVES JUST ONE LIFE!!" is a bad reason to do anything with government. I'm sure you could save a life if you closed off university from Texas to wellborn every weekend, but is that something we should actually do? No.

It's a fairly easy thing to do though and would help with traffic flow somewhat also, which is an issue there on game days

The deaths are unfortunate, but this is the correct answer.

It has been only a few years since the entire street was reworked to enhance safety ... and the students refuse to use the safe options.
