I wanted to put this outside of the Official Coaching Search thread, b/c I wanted to see who would be some good guys to choose to complete the staff.

Create your 'Dream Team below, but keep it realistic, don't say 'Kirby Smart as DC, Tom Herman as OC, and Spurrier as HC.' cause that won't happen. However, don't be afraid to stretch the reach a little bit.

I put the School and current salary for the coaches I wanted, to give us an idea what we would have to compete with.

HC - Kirby Smart (Bama $1.5M)
DC - I struggled with this one the most. I wanted to find someone who would employ Kirby's 3-4 by year 2. (I don't think we have the personnel to run a 3-4 year 1.) If Mel Tucker isn't offered the DC job at Bama if Kirby leaves, then Mel would be a good choice.
DL - Brad Lawing (FSU $400K)
LB - Tosh Lupoi (Bama $350K)
DB - Terrell Buckley (L'ville $200K)

Spec Team/TE Charles Huff (Penn St $300K)

OC/QB Doug Meacham (TCU - $450K)
OL - Jeff Stoutland (Eagles - $500K)
RB - Jay Graham (FSU - $350K)
WR - Billy Napier (Bama - $350K)

S&C Coach ????

3 guys from 'Bama? Is your reasoning that if we got Smart that he would convince them to come along?

I want Lawing, Beamer, and Fitz back. Never realized how good we had it until they were all gone.

Fitz would have Darius English at 240 lbs and actually look like a DE.

I think you guys could pull D'Antonio. He's an alum, and I'm sure he wants away from Harbaugh and Urban.
