Most people think he should have been hired as their HC after 2013 and were shocked when he wasn't. A lot of players at USC still love him and would lobby for him. It makes sense.

Hell no! Pat Haden knows he better get the next hire right.

No way he places his future in the hand of the ogre.

You should be focused on who will be replacing Gus "Mickey Mouse" Malzahn

You wish. He's 55, so they'll go for a younger name with more HC experience.

They're going to be staying away from the Pete carrol coaching tree.

I don't understand when schools make hires that aren't even good on paper. At least Bert and Butch proved themselves elsewhere. Nebraska hiring Oregon State's .500 career coach? USC hiring 7 Win Steve?

His dream job is DL coach at LSU?
Look, I understand he's from Louisiana but he'd be crazy to stay as a position coach in the ghetto of Baton Rouge when he could be the HC in LA. I know LSU fans know that too and maybe that's why yall are so scared

Dude stop pressing coaching changes because your season never even started.

So pathetic. He's always wanted to be at lsu.

People say USC is still a top job, but they are going to go for a position coach from LSU? Seems like they'd avoid that no matter how good of a hire, simply due to the optics.
