I remember being in a Shakespeare Literature class back around 1979 in the Academic Building. Reveille IV (what a beauty) entered the classroom and quietly relaxed on the floor between desks.
The instructor, I believe a grad student, was from back East somewhere and was not well versed in traditions. She demanded "the dog" be removed from class. After the laughter subsided, the instructor was informed that this pooch was more important that she and would not be going anywhere until she was ready
