The difference is a big university with lots of NCAA clout - see OSU or North Carolina, etc. versus Ole Miss or a Mizzou.

Anyone who thinks there's equity in how cases are handled by the NCAA is fooling themselves.

There is a hierarchy in the NCAA investigations process. It's like when the USDOJ lets the big fish go because of the relationships between the big fish and the government, then hammers the moms and pops or the small fish, then splashes headlines about it. No different.

Yep. Eastern Kentucky should be pretty nervous about what the NCAA finds out about Louisville's hookers. (to take a cue from Tark).
