I'm sure there's plenty who'd accept him. I don't want a 7-5 retread who is partly responsible for the years of misery we've endured and NCAA sanctions.

Someone DV'd my post but every word of it is true. Why on Earth should UT want a guy who fricked coeds, got into a drunken accident with UT car, and brought down the NCAA before leaving in the middle of the night like an immature bitch?

Fair enough. I'm trying to think of a good redemption story in the ranks of CFB coaching, but nothing really springs to mind. Most of the top coaches had fairly uncontroversial trajectories to the top. Danny Ford, maybe? I can think of some basketball examples but not so many football ones.
