Then why even question my first post?

Because you tried to discount Elliott's performances at the end of the 2014-15 season. Again, no one has made the stipulation that only the 2015-16 season can be discussed (you are trying to, but I don't care, and I've already explained why that is a flawed idea). One of the main criterions for judging a back is how they perform against a top-notch Rush Defense like Alabama. Discounting that is foolish.

Jesus dude, I can't keep explaining how using games from 9 months ago to argue who's better at this moment is stupid. There is no argument, in week 5 of 2015 Leonard Fournette is more impressive than Elliot.

If you want to argue who has had the better career up to this point, go ahead. You would actually have an argument.

Bringing stats from last year into your argument can only go so far. They make a good point that Elliott is a solid back. However, in the off season guys have the opportunity to become bigger, faster, and stronger than they were the year before. They also study film and work to improve upon technique. Furthermore, the players and even coaches around them change. All of these variables factor in to why you can't use what a player did last year to argue that they are currently better than a player this year.

You are right that there is a lot of football left to be played. Fournette will likely have a big game again vs SCAR. Florida may be his first big test, but the Gators hosted his coming out party last year.
