Randy Bullock was released by the Texans and has cleared waivers. LINK

How will Randy eat?

At least he'll always be the answer to a trivia question: he's the first player to miss an extra point under new NFL rules, requiring the point-after attempt to be snapped from the 15-yard line.

In turn, the Texans signed former San Diego Charger Nick Novac. Novac was released prior to the season when he was beat out by Josh Lambo for the starting job. Lambo is 4 for 5 on field goals for the season.

He should have been cut last year. He needs a change of scenery. Probably back in the NFL later this year or next and knocking them true.

Just got off on the wrong foot in Houston.

Randy also graduated with a degree in Petro Engineering, he's going to be just fine even if he isn't kicking footballs.
