I don't think OM is waiting on the investigation to end. I suspect they have made the decision on the number of game suspension to be commensurate with what they feel the investigation will reveal if/when it is completed. They (OM) will decide when Tunsil plays again and the number of games they think will satisfy the NCAA. Crap shoot - but that's the way it is.

I obviously want him to play again because he's by far the best lineman we've ever had and we can compete for the SEC this year. Regardless of what happens, I hope his family has severed all ties with his step father and that guy doesn't get a dime. The worst part of most cheating scandals is when finding out the family members, friends, AAU or high school coaches that also reap rewards for the recruit. If you're a grown man and leach off a teenage kid, you deserve to get your arse kicked. The worst is that guy who used Skal Labissiere. Obviously the Tunsil situation is different andhe is the one who took an illegal benefit, his step dad just reminds me of those AAU coaches.
