lets not go overboard making excuses for him, he violated team rules or he would still be starting according to Pinkels lines.. as of Monday, his dads cancer surgery went well, and Mauk doesn't have to talk to the media if he doesn't want to. I made no excuse, just stated facts. Are you sure every SEC QB has a father with cancer and a fanbase calling for his replacement? I do not defend or condemn Maty. I even wonder if he might have shot himself in the foot to move things along.
