We haven't had enough players on defense that have a little thug in them, if I'm throwing political correctness aside.
You need mean alpha dogs out there. McClain, Upshaw, Barron, Kirkpatrick..those were bad dudes. Hit you in the mouth and then let you know about it bad dudes.
I hate the word "swagger" but a lot of those guys on the past defenses had it.
