He wasn't snake bit or had bad mojo. He made terrible decisions because he had no grasp on how to manage or run an offense, His recruiting, hires, and philosophy all point to this. He should of stayed a DC.

Well....all the injuries in 2013 would have been difficult for ANY coach to have done much better. We were decimated and I could rehash that stats etc etc...but lets just say this: we put 56 players on the flight to SC and about five of them were walk ons....yet we battled them til depth wore out late 3rd qt.

As far as 2014...I can spin it another way...we were an eyelash from beating LSU, and against the girls school we had picked off Winston four freaking times in the FIRST QT. Had a 9-0 lead and the ball inside the 10 yd line and Driskel throws pass to #87 again and ball bouncesoff his hands and they return pick to the house and everything changed...but we still only loss by a TD at their house.

Mizzou and Bama games sucked...USC we should've steamrolled...but take the LSU & the cancelled game and we could have been 8-4 with those two games.

Am I unhappy that he isnt at UF? No. McElwain is going to take us to heights we havent seen in five years or so. But just remember that Muschamp left McElwain a helluva defense stockpiled....thank God. He didnt recruit offense well and neither did his OCs...except Im thankful we got Grier.
