Lacamera

Also bertolet has been significantly better in practice.

I agree he has some anxiety issues, but what makes us think lacamera would suddenly become lambo under the lights?

Bert is 86% right now, and 100% on pat's putting him in the top tier of CFB kickers right now.

It's stressful but there are plenty of big time programs with worse options.

Just catching up on threads. I stick by my assessment with Bertolet. His GAME stats

Freshman year
Missed 10 extra points TEN.
16 of 24 on field goals - 66%
1 of 6 from 30-39 yards - 0.167%

LSU missed XP and 2 missed FGs (7 points and Ags lose 24-19). Bama - Ags go up 20-0 and missed XP momentum changes as crowd gets back into the game. 2nd half missed 37 yard FG. Manziel fails on 2 pt conversion because we were up by 5 and trying to make up for missed PAT.

I don't need to learn a new lesson. I learned my lesson in 2012. Sumlin put him out this year and I get that. Maybe he has matured. Then boom... here we go again with a chance to win it at the end.

Do we really need to trot someone out that has proven big situations and games are a problem for him?? Really. We have some big games coming up where FGs and extra points have to be made.

I get this but what is in Bertolet's background to make you think he can?? He has a resume already and it ain't good at all with or without pressure. I'm all for giving chances to someone but good grief. This is going to change the offensive philosophy as well. It has to because this guy is faaaar from automatic. In a close game I would suggest it is almost a coin flip from less than 40 yards.

He can kick it a mile... great. Like Harvey Pennick said about golfers.... the woods are full of long drives.
