All week long they have complained about the so-called "illegal" forward pass by Ole Miss.
I am sick and tired of every Alabama defensive player and coach saying they lost the game because of one play out of 166.

what coaches? saban sent it in to officiating office like most coaches do and the office wants them to for improved ref performance. don't be a little girl and move on

Not much of an argument for them to have. According to the rule, any part of the body needs to be at the line. Clearly the guys entire back leg was behind. If anyone has a gripe it would be the LSU Aubie throw for a TD from Aubies now second string Heisman hopeful. Lineman clearly down field, I think there was even a hold, and he MAY have had a shoe string dragging to "keep him at or behind the line of scrimmage"

Yeah. To me it looked like the OM guy was 5 yards downfield, but just barely, and I don't think close but wrongly decided plays are anything to complain about. I felt the Bama dude much more clearly should have been called for batting the onside kick downfield, such that if either team had a basis for complaint it would be OM anyway.

I think most are saying we lost because we turned the ball over FIVE TIMES, Ole Miss scored one TD on a fluke play, AND we got burned on the lineman downfield thing. That's hardly the "one play" scenario in your argument. But hey, if you like building straw men and knocking them over, then go ahead and enjoy yourself.

You people are so upset over a win. Just accept that you barely beat a 4 loss Bama team and move on. It's a long season and you have a good team, let's see how it shakes out.

I hate to defend Saban because he is a whiny little bitch and usually scapegoats someone else for a loss. But this time I don't see him doing that. He said he sent the play to the league office, but then added that the TD resulted from the players' mistake in not covering their assignments.
And he's right. By the time our O lineman was 3 yards beyond the LOS, Bama's corner and safety had already bitten on the run and could never have caught up to Cody Core streaking down the sideline. The refs threw a flag on the QB being over the line, but he clearly wasn't. The lineman clearly was a yard or two beyond the allowable, and it should have been called, but it had no effect on the play. Sort of like a minor block in the back 20 yards behind the play that doesn't get called.

Y'all are some of the bitchiest winners I have ever seen. It's like you have no idea what to do with a big win, even though you've done it two years in a row.
I'll give you a hint: Celebrate. Enjoy. It probably won't last (i.e. the chance of an SEC team going undefeated is minimal), so don't spend your time bitching about it. You got away with an illegal play. It happens. We got away with one last year in Oxford. Why are you being a bitch when people are calling your team out on it?
