This isn't about one call in a game. It's about what every defensive minded coach complains about. Defense read lineman and when they are down field On plays it makes it harder for defenses to make a read. I would not be surprised if the QB and line of scrimmage calls get looked at as well. It's hard enough to defense read options but when a ab is allowed to pass the ball with half of his body set the line and linemen are 7 yards down field it provides an an extremely unfair offensive advantage. That's what this is about not one call in a game. No one has blamed the loss on that play but troll on.
