Not sure you saw the Miss St game. LSU had a total of 337 yards of offense. Harris was 9/14 for 71 yards.

The previous game for Miss St they gave up 415 yards to Southern Miss. Miss St. did shut down Southern Miss running game but they did throw for over 300 yards.

Not sure you last years game when LSU got behind and we HAD TO THROW - Harris was 6/9 for 140 yards and 2 TDs. As a team we threw for 341 yards and lost. Were really never in that game because we couldn't move the ball on the ground (89 yards rushing - 2.5 YPC) and control the clock.

Do you think that Southern Miss throwing in 44 times might be because they averaged 2.8 YPC and they were facing a double-digit deficit 2:45 into the 2nd half for the remainder of the entire half?

LSU has come out and taken control of both their games this year and did what they do best. As long as they do that, LSU will throw the ball sparingly. If Harris takes every snap and ends up with 800 yards and 4 TDs I guarantee you LSU will be undefeated.
