Protect the ball, play solid defense, control the clock, score = win
Essentially if you are effectively moving the ball with the running game and asserting your will in the tackles, runnings backs protecting the ball, why pass 40 times? the more you throw the higher your chances of it getting picked, and the chances of a pick > the chances of a fumble
Essentially how we beat ole miss last year and bama lost, ole miss lives off the turnovers it creates
