I didn't say impact players on paper.

I meant actually doing things in the games. I realize they're young but it looks like we have a shite ton of mediocre talent out there.

It takes time for his recruits to catch up to more experienced players. You can't expect his 1st and 2nd year recruits to come in and make immediate impact over experienced juniors and seniors in most cases.

Just look at the QB position. There's no doubt that our best QB is on the bench this year (Town or Storey). But no one would expect a true freshman QB to take the job from a 5th year senior unless the talent discrepancy were huge.

I know you don't want to hear it but it takes time to see the potential of his recruits play out. Use Agim as an example. He's the biggest recruit in memory but we won't see his full potential until he's a junior or senior. Depending on if he redshirts/leaves early that may not be until 2019 or 2020.

Seriously, you're comparing the RS Seniors, Seniors, and RS Juniors on the team that Petrino/JLS recruited to the Juniors, RS Sophomores, Freshmen, and RS Freshmen that make up CBB's three recruiting classes related to the starting lineup like that is supposed to be a fair comparison of college ready impact players?

Then on top of that you're eliminating CBB's latest class from counting in the comparison because their projected talent level is "only on paper"?

Come on now.
