What's funny though is that Freeze has been successful at every level of anything he has coached. Yet people are surprised and shocked at what he has done at OM

Your definition of success is much different than mine.
Next year will be interesting for the Rebs, as well.

I don't think anyone will be shocked until he actually wins something at Ole Miss. David Cutcliff and Houston Nutt, and to a lesser extent, Tommy Tubberville, showed you can win some games and beat some good teams at Ole Miss.
