I don't think Bama fans were sold on Blake until the Florida game. I'm sure you could find threads from early last season about how terrible Blake was.

Push so far. Sims ability to escape and to hit on the deep ball almost tempt me to give him the nod. He was so awful on the road though. He shined in home games against the aggies and led the offense to 600+ yards vs Florida, but was pedestrian against Ole Miss and LSU. Hell he almost was benched in the Iron Bowl.

His success can be attributed to a combination of Lane's play calling and Amari Cooper having the best season imaginable.

Coker doesn't have Amari Cooper, but does have better overall skill talent. Kiffin has to shine at play calling if Coker is going to have success. He is very capable of calling a great game, but he can lay an egg as well. Having Coker go down field with his slow release is not going to be conducive to a successful day. Bama is going to have to hit some home runs in the run game with Drake.
