No shite. This doesn't make it seem like it was a GF, but a girl he met in the AD. But I know nothing of the situation.

pretty sure he's married to the girl now and dated before he got to LSU. Regardless, point being, the NCAA has and will punish people for all sorts of reason, regardless of how much sense it makes, and no team is immune from it.
