This, and the fact that he wants so desperately to prove he can run his offense with a pocket passer. His offense is just so much more deadly with a running QB.

That's ALWAYS been the downside with the spread offense IMHO!!!

You need the "right" type of QB. The emphasis isn't that great in traditional offenses.
