It's really not that simple. If you go by the box score, Arkansas should have won going away. Losing to a team that you outgain by 200 yards is a freak occurrence.
TL;DR People are overreacting to Arkansas' loss.

It is really that simple. Gain as many yards as you want, if you don't score then you don't win.
