Last year, it was A&M, who went unbeaten in September, jumping into the top ten right after labor day and climbing all the way up to #6, before falling apart in October after going 5-0.
Who is this year's version?
1 - Ohio State: Defending national champion, ineligible
2 - Alabama: Started the season #3, ineligible
3 - TCU: Started the season #2, ineligible
4 - Michigan State: Started the season #5, ineligible
5 - Baylor: Started the season #4, ineligible
6 - USC: Started the season #8, ineligble
7 - Georgia: Started the season #9, ineligble
8 - Notre Dame: jumped over 3 teams after a 38-3 win over Texas. Just lost their starting QB and HB
9 - Florida State: Started the season #10, ineligble
10 - UCLA: Started the season #13, has a true freshman QB starter
Your thoughts?

I think BYU at UCLA Saturday should be a good game. So should GT at ND.

I don't see it, I just don't
Outside of GA Tech, Clemson and maybe Oklahoma, who else should be top 10?

Baylor has looked pretty mediocre from what I've seen this season. Not sure why they're ineligible.
ETA: unless we're only talking teams that have moved into the top 10

I say TCU, they've lost a ton of defense due to injury. I think they'll finish with 2+ losses

Baylor and Fla State are not top 10 teams.

I feel bad saying Notre Dame because they're overrated purely because of injury. Before the injuries, they were a good team.

And it's
Notre Dame
Then Baylor
Notre Dame
Then Baylor

I'm gonna say Georgia. Without Chubb, would they even be ranked?

Another LSU fan looking for Daddy A&Ms affection

Yeah, you are the one who had gay sex with an Aggy and now you feel guilty about it.

Yep, Daddy
A&M isn't even an option to answer the OPs question
But it's still the team name you type

Even the AP does not think TAMU is a "September Top Team," but still you need to mention us.
Sad, really.
