You have to be the dumbest sumbitch around. Let's trade 9-10 win seasons and being in the mix EVERY year for the east for a "muschamp" and getting 3 wins a year. EFFFFFFFF YOU and the dumb arse hourE you rode in on. I don't always agree with Richt but rolling the dice, just the roll the dice is dumb as hell. There are better coaches but those ain't coming to UGA....muschamp was a lucrative hire and he crippled Flordia. Charlie Strong....who? It would be nice if the arm chair, I never took a snap, UGA fans would step back after a win....

I just want the administration to try to find a coach that will win. 9\10 win seasons are all nice and pretty and mean jack shite in the long run. If you do not win your conference regularly those 9\10 win seasons mean nothing. And if we hire a dud coach guess what? We fire him and hire again and again until we find someone competent. You like being mediocre at best. I want us to succeed. To win something meaningful. We CAN NOT do so with Richt. That has been apparent for years. We need to roll the dice and as said we have the perfect candidate already on the roster. Pruitt will not do worse that Richt and there is a god chance he will do much better and at the very least win us the conference every few years. Hell we may get a natty out of it. But you and the administration are a bunch of pussies that are happy having a bunch of underachieving mediocre teams. I repeat 9\10 wins are worthless if you do not have titles to back it up. We need to stop under utilizing the talent we get every year and start trying to win something that is worth a damn for once.

What is dumb is your argument, my young and naive friend. I assume you are young as with the sense you are demonstrating you will never attain an age of any measure, so treasure the moments you have. They will be fleeting.

By your argument, you would never change any coach as there is risk you could do worse. If you are 1 - 11, be careful, you could be 0 - 12. Hide in the corner and hope that all is well.

It is all about what the goals are for the program. Apparently, you are completely satisfied with 9 - 10 and I would assume 6 - 6, 7 - 5 and 8 - 4 and being in the "hunt" rather than winning the east and NC. And that is fine if that is what you want. I have adjusted my expectations to that level as long as Richt is coach and after the Vandy game I feel confident my adjusted expectation will be met somewhere in that range.

To expand on your Florida example, they took a risk on Muschamp. Didn't work. They also took a chance on a guy that had one head coaching job previously and a guy that had never been a head coach at a major program. I believe they were Spurrier and Myer. That worked out OK.

According to your logic. Give'em hell Pell would still be coaching Florida.
