I agree that LSU should be favored and believe they will probably win, but the breakdown looks more like this to me:

QB: State
RB: LSU
WR: Push
OL: LSU
DL: State
LB: Push
DB: LSU

If it was as lopsided as your breakdown, LSU would be favored by 14+.

This is probably pretty accurate. And notice that State's strengths (DL vs. LSU RB and OL, for example) counter LSU's strengths. This is going to be a battle. It comes down to can LSU throw the ball, and can MSU get some non-dak production in the running game.


My prediction? In a game that everyone is talking about Dak, De'Rynya, Fournette and Jennings, Gus Walley and Westin Graves win the game for State.
