Nothing like Cocks and KY amirite?

How are you guys feeling after game one? Didn't get to watch. Hoping for a good one this coming weekend. :cheers

I feel a lot better about our defense than last year. Mitch, our QB, doesn't seem awful but he is shaky and new. Add to that our only proven WR is Pharoh. Receivers couldn't get open all night so it was hard to get a good read on Mitch. He didn't turn the ball over so that was a plus.

The defense allowed a bunch of yards in between the 20s, but for the most part locked it down in the red zone. I feel good about our defense against Kentucky because they don't have that quick strike air raid that UNC does. Of course I've felt this way before, and we've gotten burned. So who knows.

Here's to a fun week and a good game Saturday

After watching both play this weekend I really have no clue as to what happens. I do feel both played below my expectations and they only have a week to tighten up that which should already be tight from preseason practice.

Do we have the final kickoff time, channel, and crew announcements in place yet. With the way both played can't see this getting final week bump up.

Yes, especially when it looks like it can be a good game, and I think this one can be.

I posted on the rant thread that I thought it would be a good game. I do think that way. Both teams are young, but I would give UK an edge of offense, and USC an edge on defense.

Saw some good and back from UK this weekend. The most concerning thing was the way the defense got shoved around in the 2nd half. That's a bad omen for UK.

Towles threw a lot of bad balls, that was what most disappointed me about the offense. I expected him to be much improved, and didn't see it that much. With that said, he did make some good throws too. Maybe just 1st game jitters, will see how he performs in Columbia.

Can't this year, but will likely make that trip 2 years from now. Of all SEC cities, that is where I want to go next.
