Florida record in September since 2005

I was reading through Florida's pregame "notes" for New Mexico State, and I found this particular stat pretty incredible:
Since 2005, Florida is 35-4 (.857) in the month of September.
Granted, we tend to play our four "cupcakes" in September (2 out of conference teams, and two of the bottom dwellers in the SEC East that we haven't lost to in 10+ years), but that is still an insane record. How does that record compare to other SEC teams in the month of September?

No it isn't because

I think LSU has only lost like 3 or 4 games in September since 2000. I'd imagine this is pretty common among top programs.

I can remember when I thought one of the most important East games, the Florida -Tennessee game, was played too early in the season.

Is that really all that impressive?
The answer is no.
The answer is no.

Quickly looking back since 2005 Alabama is 40-4 (.909) on the field in August/September (includes a couple of August games in those rare years we started that early). (30-4 (.882) excluding the vacated wins)
The record is 30-0 (1.000) from 2008-2014.

Beating FCS level teams in Sept. doesn't compensate for losing to that FCS school in Nov.

Georgia Southern doesn't bother anyone anymore. It was 3 seasons ago now, you can give up trying to troll with that.
Didn't Bo Pelini give you a shoutout in an interview?

You love to take shots at UF don't you? Why the hate?
I'd take some shots at Nebraska, but there is no need. We all know how irrelevant you are. And with your new coah, who is also historically average you will continue the trend.
I guess that's why you spend so much time focused on the SEC, cause your own program isn't good enough to follow. Sad really. It must be kind of hard to watch a team like Missouri come over here, play a great schedule, and have some success when they just not long ago were in your own conference.Did you actually attend Nebraska? If not why not just become a Missouri fan, then you could pull for a more relevant team in a much more relevant conference.
Anyway good luck with the future of Nebraska in the Big10. Going to be kind of tuff for ya'll for a while with Harbaugh and Meyer around.
