Athletics director Greg McGarity has said that the building will not be ready for the 2016 season, because ground and soil work will take too long. McGarity could not be immediately reached for comment on Monday.
Didn't FSU and UF both announce and get theirs built in about 8 months?

Ours is going to be a MUCH nicer facility. They're looking/thinking long term. I like it.

Yes, but ours is not only bigger/nicer but there's also a lot more to do in terms of moving utilities. If we were just throwing up a warehouse with turf inside like most IPFs, yeah we'd have it before next season.
