They rarely sell out games.

Here is the core of the whole realignment argument

Moving to a bigger and better conference will bring bigger games and creates bigger game environments. Louisville in the Big Least meant playing teams where selling 30K a game was considered good. Now they are in the ACC those games get replaced by schools where selling 50K or 60K seats gets easier and you have overflow for big games like Florida State (and probably Notre Dame going forward) as they are just down the road.

UK every other year will probably be a sell out at the new capacity and a school like Ohio State may consider Home and Home if you seat 65K instead of 45K so their fans can travel for a game so close to Columbus. Playing the Line Beards in the OOC looks better in a bigger stadium than just playing an old MAC school like Toledo.

Louisville in the ACC will grow their base just because of their new money and bigger base.

Cincinnati in the Big 12 would probably do the same with more sports money and games with Texas, Oklahoma, and West Virginia than they will ever do remaining in a non Power 5 conference where they are now.
